You know what I mean.....when you get so hungry you literally can't function. You get a wave of brain fog, jittery and swear you could eat a small child...
I used to experience this feeling alllllll the time. Back when I was very meticulous with my food, I'd get hangry to the point where if I didn't get food FAST I would lose my mind....not the most attractive, I know. But the truth is, I had no idea this feeling could be avoided. Many of my fitness friends spoke of hanger often so I just assumed it was something that everyone experienced.
Until a few years ago.
I made some pretty serious tweaks to my not just my nutrition, but my over all life. I became much less restrictive. There was a long period of time where I was conditioned to only eat foods that were "clean" so when I chose to finally make a change, I did away with all food labels. I no longer labeled things as "clean, good, bad" etc. This helped to dramatically shift my thinking and create more ease around food. This helped tremendously when it came to my hanger. I constantly needed to have snacks with me to carry me over between meals or hanger would get the best of me.
And that's why in todays episode or RetiFitTV, I share some important background info on what actually causes hanger and how you can do away with it for good!
