Letting Go - I used to think if it wasn't "intense" exercise, it wasn't worth my time. Boy was I wrong! Looking back, I can see how twisted my thought process was. Longing for a specific result led me down a slippery slope. Until I decided to reclaim my health.

It wasn't an easy process, but over time I began to notice a significant shift, not only in my physical well being but my mental and emotional too. I believe it's all so interconnected. When we can love ourselves enough to accept ourselves exactly where we are as we are, so many things begin to align. For me, that was letting go of all the "rules" I had adopted along my journey. The rules about what I could and couldn't eat, how I needed to exercise to achieve the perfect body, etc.

Fast forward 2 years, and I've discovered a deep love for moving my body in gentle ways that ultimately make me feel more grounded and connected (Yoga). I've fallen in love with walking. Nothing brings me more joy than feeling fresh air on my cheeks and the soothing sensation I get when I become connected with nature.
